SDI Group plc Contract Wins

SDI Group plc (AIM: SDIG.L), which designs, builds and supports integrated materials handling solutions for international retail, wholesale, fulfilment and e-commerce distribution operations is pleased to announce a number of recent contract wins, together totalling approximately £8 million, which will be recognised in the financial year to 31 March 2010.

In the UK, the Group has won contracts with high quality clothing retailer Jack Wills and discount retailer TK Maxx to provide additional capacity to their existing distribution facilities.

The Group has also won two new contracts to design, build and support new automated warehousing systems for Dutch apparel retailers Noppies and Wolverine.

Finally, the Group has supplied and installed additional sorting systems to Decathlon, the major French sports clothing and equipment retailer, at its sites in Bordeaux, Toulouse and Naples.

The Group is due to report preliminary results for the 16 months to 31 March 2009 in early July, which are expected to be in line with management expectations.

Commenting on the contract wins, Gordon Smith, SDI’s CEO, said: “We are delighted to announce these contract wins which will see SDI continuing to work with big name retailers in the UK and mainland Europe. In spite of difficult trading conditions globally, retailers are still able to recognise the long-term savings that SDI’s systems can offer.”
