SDI Group UK Launches Health and Safety Initiative
 
SDI Group UK, the leading specialist in the provision of integrated materials handling solutions, has launched a health and safety initiative to provide an enhanced service to its maintenance customers. This new commitment will enable the company to champion safer working at customer sites to reduce accidents, better manage risk, and ensure legislative compliance.
 
As part of the programme, 22 engineers, made up of site managers and H&S reps, will undergo the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safety training course. When completed, this development will support the company’s Health & Safety Officer and his team, who are tasked with driving internal processes, adopting best practice, and further developing the necessary auditing procedures.
